The O-Shot and Sexual Dysfunction?

Constant lack of sexual desire, the inability to become aroused or have an orgasm during intercourse. Painful or unpleasant sex.

These are all symptoms of sexual dysfunction and if you're experiencing any of them, you're not alone. Nearly 43% of women report at least some degree of poor sexual function, and the O Shot is one treatment that may help restore sexual wellness.

What is The O-Shot

The Orgasm "O Shot for women", is a non-surgical treatment that helps to increase sexual arousal and manage urine incontinence. Patients report stronger and more frequent orgasms, increased natural lubrication, and greater arousal after having the procedure. They also report significant improvement in urinary incontinence.

Dr. Charles Runels (known as the inventor of the Vampire Facial, made famous when Kim Kardashian had the procedure done on TV) invented the O-Shot. At our O-Shot clinic in Warrenton, VA, PRP is used for the O-Shot to stimulate the growth of new cells in the vaginal wall and clitoris.

What are the benefits of The O-Shot?

There are numerous benefits of the O shot therapy. Patients report some or all of the following:

  • Significantly Increased libido and sexual desire
  • Increased ability to have a vaginal orgasm
  • Increased clitoral and vaginal sensitivity
  • Stronger, more intense, and more frequent orgasms
  • Significantly Decreased urinary incontinence
  • Increased natural vaginal lubrication
  • Decreased painful intercourse for those experiencing pain during intercourse
  • Improved skin on the vulva
  • Sometimes: tighter vaginal opening

How does the O-Shot Work?

Dr. Sagar Verma trained under Dr. Charles Runels

PRP has been used for years in orthopedic and spine surgery, where it accelerates bone and cartilage healing times. It has also more recently been used in plastic surgery and hair loss treatment.

Once the PRP is injected into the tissue, the PRP injection stimulates the growth of new cells and encourages the formation of new collagen, blood vessels, and nerves therefore the injection sites become more sensitive. In addition, collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs and further aids in tissue repair.

How is the O-Shot procedure performed?

After a consultation with the physician, the procedure will be carefully explained to you, and you can also be shown a video if you want.

1

First, a powerful numbing cream (local topical anesthetic) is applied to the treatment area.

2

Then your blood is drawn and placed in a specialized centrifuge. This helps separate the blood into different parts and PRP is obtained at the end of the cycle.

3

PRP is drawn into syringes. Then local anesthetic is injected just before the PRP injection, the area becomes more numb prior to the procedure.

4

Then the O-shot (PRP) is injected and you are done!

What Are the Potential Side Effects of the O-Shot?

Since it's your own blood part, there is no chance of any reactions. Most patients experience minimal to no side effects after receiving the O shot treatment. However, some patients may experience mild redness, swelling or numbness for the first few days.

Do I need more than one O-Shot?

This depends on your response to the O Shot. Sometimes more than one shot is required to get the full benefits.
