Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an aspirin allergy, with active cold sores, infection or broken skin in the area, if you have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past 6 months, or with a sunburn. Tell us about recent laser treatments, waxing or retinoid use.

We look at your skin and choose the VI Peel® formula that fits your goals.

Your skin is cleansed, and the peel solution is applied in layers. You may feel mild tingling or warmth for a few minutes.

You go home with a post-peel kit and clear instructions. The peel stays on for several hours before you wash it off.

Peeling usually starts around day 3 and finishes by about day 7, revealing fresher, more even skin.
The VI Peel® blends several ingredients that work together. Your provider chooses the formula for your skin.
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid and phenol, balanced for a medium-depth peel with little discomfort.
Retinoic acid to speed up cell turnover.
Vitamin C, plus ingredients that target dark spots.
