FDA-cleared

Usually 1–3, about 4–6 weeks apart
Downtime
Redness and swelling for about 1–3 days
What it is
Morpheus8, made by InMode, combines two proven ideas: microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy. Ultra-fine needles reach a precise depth beneath the skin, then release RF heat at their tips. This remodels the deeper layers where collagen is made, while largely sparing the surface.
Because the depth can be adjusted, one device can treat delicate areas under the eyes and larger areas such as the jawline, neck, stomach, arms and thighs.
Proven and FDA-cleared
Morpheus8 has been used in the United States since around 2019. In 2024, the FDA cleared Morpheus8 for soft-tissue contraction, the first fractional radiofrequency microneedling device to receive that clearance. The manufacturer reports more than 2.5 million treatments performed worldwide.
*Body tip: up to 7 mm needle depth plus about 1 mm of heat beyond the tip.
Step by step
From consultation to final results, here is what to expect.
1
Dr. Verma examines your skin, discusses your goals and creates a plan, including the areas and depth of treatment.
2
Numbing cream is applied for about 45–60 minutes so you stay comfortable.
3
The handpiece is moved across the skin in passes, delivering RF energy at the chosen depth. A face takes about 30–45 minutes.
4
Expect redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days, and sometimes a faint grid pattern. Most people return to normal activities quickly.
5
Over the next weeks, your body builds new collagen and elastin, and the skin gradually firms.
6
Results build for about 3 months and may last a year or more, with maintenance.
May firm loose skin along the jawline, jowls, neck and under the eyes.
May smooth rough texture and make pores look smaller.
May soften pitted and rolling acne scars over a series.
Deeper settings may tighten loose skin on the stomach, arms and thighs.
Energy is delivered beneath the surface, so it is often suitable for a wider range of skin tones than some lasers.
Often combined with PRP or Xeomin® as part of an overall plan.

Yes. In 2024, the FDA cleared Morpheus8 for soft-tissue contraction, the first fractional radiofrequency microneedling device to receive that clearance.
Regular microneedling works near the surface. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency heat delivered deeper, which tightens and remodels the tissue for stronger results.
Most people need 1–3 sessions, about 4–6 weeks apart, depending on their goals.
We apply numbing cream first. Most people feel heat and pressure during treatment. It is usually very tolerable.
Expect redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days, and sometimes a faint grid pattern. Most people return to normal activities within a few days.
Use only gentle skincare for a few days, avoid makeup for about 24 hours, avoid heavy exercise and saunas for 1–2 days, and use sunscreen every day.
Some people see a glow within a week. Tightening and texture improve gradually over about 3 months as new collagen forms.
Results may last a year or more. A maintenance session once a year is common. Natural aging continues, so results vary.
Redness, swelling, tenderness and small scabs or grid marks are common and short-lived. Less commonly, bruising, changes in skin color, infection or scarring can occur.
