Microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin that prompt your body to make new collagen. We offer two types: SkinPen®, an FDA-cleared microneedling pen, and Morpheus8, which adds radiofrequency heat for extra tightening. Both may improve texture, pores, fine lines and acne scars.

Is it right for me?
Not suitable during an active acne breakout or skin infection, with open wounds, during pregnancy, if you are prone to keloid scars, or if you have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) recently. Morpheus8 is not suitable with a pacemaker or certain metal implants. We check your skin and history first.

Both start with microneedling. The difference is depth and whether heat is added.

SkinPen® is a great choice for texture, pores, fine lines and mild scars with short downtime. Morpheus8 adds heat for more tightening of loose skin and deeper scars. We recommend the best fit at your consultation.
We use numbing cream, so most people feel only light pressure or a vibrating, scratchy feeling.
Your skin will look and feel sunburned for about 1–3 days. Most people return to work within a day or two.
Avoid makeup for about 24 hours, use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, skip retinol and exfoliants for a few days, avoid heavy sweating for a day, and use sunscreen every day.
Microneedling is not done over inflamed, active acne. We calm active breakouts first, then treat the scars.
Many people notice a glow within a week. Texture and scars improve gradually over 2–3 months as collagen builds.
Redness, swelling, dryness and pinpoint bleeding are common and short-lived. Less commonly, bruising, breakouts, infection or changes in skin color can occur.
